Description:

The GE Light Speed Plus features a layout of a detector consisting of 16 banks of 0.63 mm detectors and eight banks of 1,25 mm detector. The scanner features a variant of the ASSR method with GE’s MDMP reconstruction algorithm. The Light Speed Pro has a separate pipe, generator and gantry to allow for greater mA methods and quicker scanning times. Four variants of this scheme are presently marked as 80,100.120 and 140, with the number referring to the generator output in kW.
